The nine-storey Changi General Hospital (CGH) Medical Centre houses a range of specialist outpatient clinics and minor surgical and procedure rooms. Son Heng Interiors was appointed as the nominated sub-contractor for all interior fit-out works, including the fabrication and installation of reception counters, built-in furniture, and custom cabinetry—such as medical staff workstations—across the entire facility.

Each clinic welcomes visitors with a thoughtfully designed entrance foyer, while waiting areas are uniquely configured to meet the specific operational needs and comfort preferences of users, reflecting a highly customized approach to healthcare interior design.

Central to the project’s success was the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), which enabled precise coordination among various stakeholders. This dedication to accuracy and integration earned Son Heng Interiors the prestigious BCA BIM Awards (Platinum), recognizing excellence as an Interior Fit-Out Specialist. Our in-house BIM coordinators ensured every shop drawing matched site conditions with precision, conducting on-site verification to align real-world measurements with digital models.
