National University of Singapore, Prince George Park Residences 2

Project Overview

Located within the prestigious National University of Singapore, this project involved the comprehensive upgrading of Blocks 5, 6, 7, and 8 at Prince George’s Park Residences 2. Appointed as the main contractor, Son Heng Interiors was entrusted with the execution of extensive refurbishment works across four 6-storey hostel blocks, delivered in two concurrent phases.

Each student room features a private en-suite bathroom, while every level is equipped with a shared cluster kitchen—designed to support a vibrant, community-based living experience.

The scope of work included a full range of builder and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services: from demolition, vinyl and tile flooring, wall tiling, and painting, to the removal and reinstallation of sanitary ware, custom-built and loose furniture, and new electrical and lighting fixtures.

A key challenge successfully managed by the team was maintaining a tightly controlled construction schedule while minimizing noise disruption—ensuring a conducive environment for students residing in adjacent blocks throughout the project duration.
